The Iowa State Fair

On Saturday, August 11 we went to the fair, which is a huge deal here in Iowa. Ethan's favorite part of the fair was the giant tractors that they had on display. He wanted to touch every single one. And Aidan's favorite part? The corn box, like a sand box but filled with feed corn. He played in it for over an hour. We also ate pork chops on a stick and ice cream, and people watched. The boys also loved the baby chicks. They patted this little chick for 5 minutes. And the one of Erin and the boys? That is us standing in front of the butter cow. We wanted a picture of us standing in front of the famed butter cow, but we weren't willing to stand in the 30 minute line to get a photo! So here we are, in front of the crowd of people, smiling at the camera!
