A Bad Case of the No's

We have some terrible two-itis on our hands. Aidan has two favorite words right now: no and why. If he isn't asking us why about everything, he is telling us no for everything else. Okay, it's a little extreme, but not very much.Having a fit because Christian told Aidan to tell me "sorry." He refused and leaped on Daddy's lap to try to get his way. Crying, crying, "no, no, no, no."

Literally one minute later, "Daddy...I happy now!" Then he told me sorry. Aidan is much more defiant that Ethan ever was. We wonder what kind of teenager we will have on our hands!

Happy New Year to all of you. Do you have any plans? We're making pizza for dinner, and I think we may let the kids stay up until 9:00, bang a few pots and pans, and then Christian and I will have a Guitar Hero showdown after the boys are in bed...if we play while the kids are awake, we don't get a turn! The boys take over!

That actually sounds like a lot of fun for New Years! I really wanted to go out to dinner, but all the babysitters are booked. Too bad! Kaitlyn has a really hard time being up after 7 or 8 - not worth the effort!

I really wish we had two guitars. I am 2/3ds through with the medium setting, but I've been taking some time off to practice. We are having the De Souzas over tonight along with a new family, the Snows. Last night we played with the Roskelleys. Can you tell I've been going a little stir crazy with all of us home for a week with no excuse to leave? I am starved for outside contact! Happy New Year!

Oh boy can I ever relate to those 2 year old fits. Isn't it amazing? Even though I've been through the "two's" with Spencer, it's all different with another kid/personality! May the force be with you/me! Cute pictures though! lol

We don't have anything planned for New Years. Just ordering Thai food from a local place (SO good) and eating in once the kids go to bed.

Have a good one!

Happy New Year to you guys! Gotta love the fits--they haven't stopped with Carson, and Devon never seems to have started. It's crazy how different they are!!!

I don't know if it ever gets better than the terrible two's if you have a defiant child. Sorry!
It's kind of nice to know that others finally understand!
