Poor Ethan
Well, Ethan "gets" to have tubes put in his ears. Again. For the third time. This set of tubes only lasted 8 months. We noticed about two weeks ago that we were having to repeat what we were saying because he didn't hear us the first time around. It got really bad last weekend (a week ago), so we took him to the pediatrician. He thought one ear may have an infection, so we did the drops. Then we scheduled him with the ear, nose and throat specialist today for a follow-up. They did a hearing test, and I don't know what the numbers mean, but both of his ears at his age should be a 2.7, and his ears are both at 0.7. He has fluid in both ears, and the tubes JUST fell out. Like they are still attached to his eardrums, but they aren't fuctioning and haven't actually fallen out yet. So this is a repeat of nine months ago, when his ears were infected and fluid filled, and he couldn't hear us. So we scheduled his surgery for Tuesday the 26th. Poor kid! At least he will be able to hear again, and it's fun to have Mom and Dad's full attention when he is in the hospital.

Poor poor kid! This is just getting ridiculous! Wish I could be there to help.
Poor guy. We will keep in in our prayers and it has got to be frustrating not to be able to hear anything
What a huge bummer. The poor kid! I can't believe it all!
That sounds absolutely miserable. What a trooper Ethan is.
Oh how sad. Poor guy. Best of luck with the new tubes!
How awful!! You and your kids deserve a reward for all the sickness you have been through this winter!
Aw man! I hope that 3 is a charm. Shelby will get tubes in her ears in May when she has her surgery. I hope that we don't have the problems you guys have had with them.
WOW!! That is tomorrow! Good luck! I will be thinking of you! And praying for you!
