To celebrate our new house, we went out to eat last night at The Café, a restaurant in our back yard (okay, back parking lot) that only uses organic and locally grown foods. It was a special treat for the whole family.Okay, so maybe the salmon wasn't "locally grown," but it sure was yummy. Christian got the steak and egg, and some deliciously yummy potatoes and asparagus spears that I could have eaten all of if Christian hadn't said, "Hey! Don't eat all of my potatoes!" Guess I should have ordered them myself.Ironically, we found out during our celebratory dinner that the seller's agent made a snafu (yes, I know what snafu means and yes, it applies here) and they couldn't record the papers on our house yesterday because it was after 5:00. But, thankfully, it will record (i.e. close) first thing this morning and we will even get a little money back because of the one day difference. So, as of 9:05 AM Utah time today, we will officially own the home.

It's the middle of the night, I'm hungry, and that food looks SO, SO, SO yummy!
Congratulations on the house once again. I'm excited for your fun, new adventures.
I love celebrating. I find any excuse I can to celebrate something. Congrats on being official!
Congrats on the new house! I just ate lunch and now I'm hungry again.
Food looks good. Glad it is closed!

I so miss having yummy restaurants in my town. I loved the Cafe - you lucky ducks! Especially their bakery.
Congrats on closing! We also just paid our last rent check. It was so weird and cool. I forgot we'd be getting a deposit back, what a bonus!
