Bryce Canyon

This weekend we went to Bryce Canyon. Grandma Ruth came down to visit and we decided to show her a good time! Actually, by good time I mean lots of heat, hiking, and a little bit of exhaustion.

Anyway, here are some random, beautiful pictures of the canyon:
These are called hoodoos. Yes, hoodoos. This is called Natural Bridge. But someone misnamed it. It is not actually a bridge at all, but an arch. I kind of sound like Roger on the fat Monica episode of Friends: "Couscous wan't originally called couscous. In fact, the second 'cous' wasn't added until 1979."There were signs everywhere that said, "These fires are controlled. Don't report them." So nice to be smelling fire everywhere you go at a national park.If you click on this one to make it bigger, you can see the arch that the wind created. It's pretty awesome when you are there in person. Christian loved these tree stump things on the right side of the picture. The colors in this place were amazing. When Ethan saw this, the very first thing he said was, "Hey, it looks like a million people!" Yes, Ethan, it really does.
Nice picture, but I really need some new shirts. I have had this one since my freshman year of college, 14 years ago. Anyone want to go shopping with me?The famThe best picture of the day: Ruth took this one of Ethan. It's arguably the best picture ever taken of him.

Hey, I have that same shirt! I think we got them at the same time! Maybe we should go shopping together. . . That picture of Ethan is absolutely gorgeous (uh, handsome). I really should've gone there when I went to arizona. At least I have something new to go see when I come and see you! But, maybe we will be too busy shopping. . .

Ethan looks so cute in that picture! Next time you go, take your kids on the short hike to the Bristle Cone forest. These pine trees are so cool! They are thousands of years old. It's cool to know that they were growing while Christ was on the earth.

First I thought, Hey I want to be beautiful and wonderful so I better comment...:) ( I feel validated)

I love you are in Utah now and I can live thru you and the fun things you are doing. Southern Utah is beautiful even if Northern is better... :)

Gorgeous Pic of Ethan.

By the way, I like to be one of the 'beautiful and wonderful'!
