The Great Twitter Experiment

I like the idea of Twitter.

Sometimes I have things I want to put on my blog, but I don't want to create an entire post. I am usually not long-winded, even on my blog, but sometimes one sentence will do. I usually try to tweet things that are either witty (in my dorky opinion), or that ask a question that I would like answered. But I have noticed that sometimes people use it in a "I'm brushing my teeth right now" sort of way. I guess it's your twitter page; you can write what you want.

So today, just for fun, I am going to tweet everything I do on Twitter, just so you can see how fabulous my life really is.

You can either follow me here, or you can just click here randomly throughout the day to see what is going on. I bet you can't wait!!

(P.S. I'll be absent from my blog until Tuesday. I have a lot going on this weekend. Miss me!)

I don't twitter. I don't even know how. I'm a computer moron.

I'm with Brooke---I'm not entirely certain what twitter is. Or does.
But have a good weekend!

I can see I'm not alone because I don't know what Twitter is either! Maybe I should go check it out.

I took a very similar approach to my use of Twitter..that you did!

Oh..you will be missed! ;) But I will make do by following you on Twitter as you travel through the mundane!

While I don't twitter, I do try to keep my FB status fairly witty.

But most people don't, I've found.

Why did they name it Twitter? I don't understand that. I only see a bunch of birds gathering in a group and fluttering all around.

I have many friends that twitter and love it. Good luck with that. I can see the reason it would be appealing.

Suzie said...

Can I then refer to you as a twit?

I can't wait! This will be the best day EVER!

Reminds me of the time I took pictures of everything I did for a day and posted them on my blog. That was fun.

I'm on Twitter, but I don't like it. It's too much! My blog, Facebook, Twitter. Too much!

Have a great weekend. I hope I see you Saturday.

Good luck with your experiment. Hope you have a great time.

I have to admit that the concept of twitter is beyond me. It seems like a Facebook status update on steroids. Or some strange blog-status update hybrid. Just a little too much for me.

I'm glad I don't have to miss you as much as others!

I can barely keep up with blogging! I set up a twitter acct, but have not yet made a peep! No time!!!

We'll miss you!

Have fun with that. I don't Twitter, heck, I don't even text message! I'm one OLD 36 year old! LOL!

at least you're leaving us with some tweets, so when we go through withdrawal, we have something to remember you by.

I don't twitter and I'm not even sure what it is.

I will miss you and I see you have 20 days left before PARIS!!!!

somehow I just can't seem to wrap my brain around the whole twitter thing. Just one more thing to make me feel technically challenged and thorougly geeky (didn't it used to be the techno savvy who were the geeky ones?)

Yay yay yay! Something to do on my breaks from work. Sometimes, I am just too out of it at work to read blogs, but tweets I can do. I hope your day is very interesting (in good ways only, of course)

I tend to be very unlengthy and shorten up almost everything I say. I dont' use alot of fluff talking.
I should twitter.

Right now you had a blog friend stop to visit. How you do that.

I twitter too, and am still getting the hang of it. I do like the convenience of not making a whole post when I really just want to put a simple thought out there, ya know? Great blog!

Twitter? Faugh. It's all about www.plurk.com baby! =P

I have my hands full with Face Book and my blog. If I tried to twitter as well I think I'd get a twitch.

If you have not had Zebra cakes, you must try them. Think Hostess cupcakes only about a zillion times more fresh and delicious. They can be found by the Hostess cupcakes, so you know they are also quite healthy.

I did FB first, then blogged, now Twitter. Tweeting is not a lot of work, so its not too much for me.

Off to follow you on Twitter to see your experiment.

I cannot understand the Twitter thing!

I am horrible about updating twitter. I seem to do facebook more with my IRL friends. But man! I have got some friends on there that give a play by play of their day...it drives me nuts sometimes and I feel like a stalker because I know way to much info about them, lol!

Lee said...

I need to figure out how to twitter. How do you set it up?

Anne-Marie said...

Twitter is fun.

But one lined blogging would be boring.

I'll seriously be missing you!
But I'll be stalking you on Twitter, so it's all good =)

If you like witty little one liners, then I think Facebook is better. There's just more to it.
That said, I am now following you on Twitter.
