We Heart Art

I am participating in the We Heart Art carnival hosted by The Three Bay B Chicks, Domestically Challenged and Helene of I'm Living Proof that God Has a Sense of Humor. All of the following pictures have been published to our private family blog, but I'm putting them up here right now to show you how much fun we have been having at our house lately.

Aidan, my just-turned-four year old, has been tapping into his creative side over the last two months. He has been spending hours drawing "beeeyouteeful pictures" (in his own words) with marker,

learning how to write his numbers (and letters) on his white board and proclaiming it art,

and making "creations" (his own term) with his racecars, play money, trains, and dominoes.

(P.S. the yellow car in the domino picture above is in the garage, according to Aidan.)

He is always so excited to show us his latest creation. I have loved watching my sweet boy open up this creative side of himself and show us what talent he has!
