Lesson Learned

The one month - one month! - I didn't go visiting teaching, one sister lost her job, and another sister broke her foot and her father in law died.

Lesson learned. I visited my sisters early this month (today). (P.S. I love the sisters I visit teach.)

I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a couple months behind, and I'm afraid if I go check they might be dead. Sigh.

Thanks for reminding me. I need to get mine done still.

I had such good ones up until a couple of years ago. They came on the first Wednesday of every month for 5 years. I kind of miss them.

Holy cow, what are the chances! But I am sure they know you care as at least you are there almost all the time.

It's okay. You're allowed to be human. I'm glad you've dusted yourself off and got it done this month. :)

Amazing how life happens so quickly! I am sure they know that you were there if they had called:)

You are good, my friend. Good. I'm proud of myself if I get every other month done.

Awww. Remember that phone calls are just as important as visits, and those are easily done. Or emails.

I haven't been a visiting teacher since like June! My last ward released me as soon as they knew I was moving, and i haven't yet been given an assignment here.

Can you please come talk to the girls in my Relief Society. I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall when I try to teach them WHY we do visiting teaching. Let me tell you, Bishopric meetings where I report 60% are not the most fun thing...

I feel stupid, but I don't know what visiting teaching is.

Thanks for that reminder. I REALLY need to call my partner and let her know that the phone number on the paper they gave us is COMPLETELY WRONG. I hope she wasn't trying to reach me...

I love going to visit my VT friends, but I haven't had mine come see me for probably 8 months or so. :(

What a great reminder....I'm totally setting up some appointments at church tomorrow.

I am so glad I stopped by. It reminds me to call my partner and see how she's doing after her surgery and then hurry and get everyone else visited!

That is such a sad, neat, and sort of funny (in a not so funny way) lesson.
