Busy, in a Good Way

In addition to the "normal" stuff, this is what has happened this week:
  • Kaitlyn's first birthday
  • She had another tooth come through (this makes five)
  • She started walking (I would post a video here, but there is too much underwear laundry in the background of the video. Go to the private blog if you want to see it.)
  • She had her one year inoculations
  • She didn't sleep for two days as a result of the shots
  • One of my friends asked me where my followers button was on this blog. I put it back up without any moment of angst, hesitation, or worry. (Wow, I have come a long way since I started this blog!)
  • Grandma Ruth came to town for four days
  • Christian and I went on a shopping spree to St. George for an entire day (without children! It was woooonderful.)
  • I didn't get to go golfing because Aidan threw up
  • We went to Red Cliffs (beautiful!)
  • Christian and I went to an Equality Celebration dinner in St. George Saturday night. (Equality Utah is an organization designed to promote LGBT rights.) We had a wonderful time and met some really great people. (Plus, the ricotta and herb bruschetta was to die for.)
And this morning, I have oodles of errands to run, Mt. Washmore to launder, and a house to clean. Fun fun!

For all the time I've spent in St. George, I've never actually been to Red Cliffs.

I have the Follow button without the actual Followers, if you're interested in that.

Happy birthday Kaitlyn! And I pretty much grew up at Red Cliffs. We camped there every year. Love, love love that place. So much.

What are LGBT rights?

I could come up with something like 'Lesbian, Gay, Bi and ... Trans' but that's probably offensive to someone and possibly all wrong.

A mutual blogger friend of ours (goddess in progress) says that you live in the area that I have just relocated to... So I thought I'd pop on bye. :)

Oh my goodness... I think I was right. Totally just threw that out there because it seemed to fit what you were talking about.

Sorry if I came across offensive, I didn't mean too.

WOW! When you put it down in writing, you realize just how much you do and accomplish in such a short period of time! Sounds like your little one was keeping you busy! I'm glad you were able to do some fun things in between.

Your comment about the laundry in the background cracked me up. I have a lot of pictures I won't share because of my messy house in the background!

Happy birthday to you little girl. I'm glad I can finally follow you. :)
