Sunday Activities

Today I spoke in Sacrament meeting. The topic was Agency, the Fall, and the Atonement. Talk about heavy topics! I was terrified for some reason, but afterward everyone said I did a great job (Christian told me he couldn't even tell that I was reading my talk...it helps to read one sentence, memorize it, and look up and look around at people while you say that sentence. Then repeat). I was also called to be the Beehive adviser in my ward, meaning girls ages 12-14. There are currently no girls that age in our ward, but one girl is turning 12 next week, and one other will be turning 12 in a month. So it will be me and two girls! There are only 9 Young Women all together in the ward. I am excited about the calling.

This afternoon Christian read books with the boys

and made an elaborate race track for them to drive their Hot Wheels cars on

while I made zucchini bread with chocolate chips AND lemon icing. YUM!

Oooo, that bread looks delicious. Noah said "Wow" when he saw the race track. Looks like a fun day. I bet your talk was fantastic. Good luck with your new calling. It sounds like it should be really fun.
