Sickness and... Nutella?

This week has been a...well, not very fun week. Ethan and Christian both got sick also, and Aidan never got better. We've had nights with very little sleep, and yesterday we had to take Aidan to the hospital to have a chest x-ray to find out whether he had pneumonia. His lungs looked clear, so they don't know why 6 days after he had steroids for the croup he has a fever of 103.7. And it's not going away. The doctor said if he is not significantly better by tomorrow (Friday) to get him back in right away. Let's just pray we don't have to do that!

However, one good thing is that after his nap today he actually wanted to eat. As always, he wanted a "cheesesanwich" and grapes. And then I introduced him to something he has never had before: a croissant covered in Nutella. Now, for those of you who don't know what Nutella is, you're missing out. It's basically chocolate in peanut butter form, and I was introduced to it in France. I had been having a craving for weeks, so I finally just went out and bought some. I spread Aidan's croissant with Nutella, and gave it to him. He got a really big smile on his face, and then leaned down and took a bite of it, without hands. Then he looked up at me and smiled. So I pulled out the camera and started taking pictures. He even had Nutella up his nostrils. And he enjoyed every minute of it!
