Rainy Wednesday

This morning, Aidan played Uno with Ethan and me (Erin) for the first time ever. We have given him cards before, and let him "play" a card when he wanted to, but this was the first time he had as many cards as us and took his turn. He was so cute: he wanted to sit with pretzel legs like Ethan was, but they kept coming undone and he would yell, "UH OH! My pretzel legs broken!" But he won the first two games he played! Beginner's luck, I guess.

Then, we decided to all go outside and go for a bike ride to the park. Exactly 30 seconds after we went outside, it started raining. Then it started pouring. So, we did the next best thing. We pulled the Baja halfway out of the garage, put the kids in the back, and put the basketball hoop right up next to it so they could do slam dunks. They had a lot of fun.

They also rode bikes when the rain let up momentarily. I know, I know, Aidan desperately needs a haircut. Anyone want to come give him one?

And here is our mess of a garage, because Christian was cleaning up his fly fishing stuff while we were out there.

By the way, if you want to play a fun rendition of Halloween Hangman, click here. (And turn the speakers on.)

how fun. That is fun when kids start to understand a game.

I miss U-No!!! We had several hours of fun playing U-no with you guys! When are you moving back to Utah? I think we are game in a few more years. Depending on the house/job market. I love the heavy winter coat that Ethan is wearing compared to the light jacket that Aidan is wearing!
