Percussion AND gymnastics

My kids are very talented, in very imaginative ways! This morning, Ethan was showing me his poses, or "tricks," that he likes to do on the couch by pushing the top cushions out of the way, standing on his head in some form, and doing cool poses with his legs, all while his face is turning unsightly shades of red.

Then, this afternoon, Ethan & Aidan begged me to let them play drums with my pots and pans. They got really inventive, and pulled out spoons, forks, and other utensils to pound with, and then they had cymbal wars too (to see who could play the loudest, I presume.) I checked to make sure our downstairs neighbor wasn't home, and then told them to have at it!
