The First Snow of the Season

It started snowing this morning. I went out grocery shopping for Thanksgiving, and shortly after I came home, it started coming down. It is bitterly cold too (32 degrees, with wind chill of 19). I'm not looking very forward to a cold winter in Iowa!
Looking out the front door of our building.Looking out the back door of our building. Yesterday, we went to Reiman Gardens (me, Ethan, Aidan & Grandma Ruth). Ruth bought us a year pass to the gardens. We are so excited to be able to visit this really cool place all year long! This is a cute picture of the boys looking at a butterfly that was a little too close for Aidan's comfort.
Then we went to Christian's office for lunch. Here is a picture of part of his office. Yay, he has a window!!!Christian and the boys. (Aidan would have smiled, but his face was too full of food to do much of anything!)

Enjoy your snow. Sorry, no trading for me. I don't mind skipping winter this year.

I love the butterfly picture. You can tell the boys are excited, but a little wary of it. Cute.

How fun lunch with dad. Yeah, snow. I wish we had some. I know that is crazy to say but I like having all four seasons.

Snow? When we were in Utah in September we went up the canyon and saw some. It was over 80 degrees here, but there was a cold breeze! I had the windows open all day to feel the cool air! LOL It is amazing how fast your body adjusts to its environment. Enjoy the snow and lunch with dad! GREAT office Christian!

Get used to the wind, in the winter it never stops blowing and it is a bitter cold wind. The boys are too cute.

It is cold here now as well, although just a few days ago felt like spring. I wish there was snow. If the weather is going to be cold it might as well look the part!

So sorry about the weather. You can always come visit us down here in AZ....70 degrees (which actually feels cold after living her for a couple years)

What fun to have snow around the holidays. I'm okay with snow around Thanksgiving and Christmas and then it can leave. But I agree with the other person that said it might as well snow if it's cold, and it is FREEZING here today in Utah!
