Playdate

Yesterday we went to Elli and Xandi's house for a playdate. This time was extra exciting for two reasons: they have a popcorn making machine, and they were getting ready to set up the electric train around the tree, so we got to play with it for a while. (Aidan is currently obsessed with trains.) At first he was leery, but he warmed up to it quickly and was soon pushing the buttons to make it go, stop, go backward, blow the whistle, and hear Santa yell "All Aboard!" or "Ho Ho Ho!" It had lights that blinked and a Christmas tree with presents and everything. What a fun playdate! Then I payed for it for the next hour after we came home because they were so hyper!

Gatnnos said...: I too am a train person. I LOVE them - unless they are holding up traffic for 45 minutes and I am trying to get somewhere. When I lived in Italy, there was a train that would pass where we road our bikes all the time. I will never forget the image of going under a train bridge in the snow with Christmas lights all around us. On bikes of course! BEAUTIFUL!!! I think I have the same train as your friend!!!
