Advent Activities

We've mostly been doing indoor activities for the last week since a few of us in the family have a cold (including this frazzled and tired mom). Here are some of the things we have been doing for our advent calendar:We made my Grandma's homemade cocoa recipe. I purchased two coffee creamers for it, and after we made the cocoa together (and rolled the huge bucket around to mix up all of the ingredients) my kids spent over 30 minutes in the bathroom, filling the creamer containers and dumping them out again (I eventually put some water in the tub and let them recycle it so they weren't using new water all of the time).
Then one night we went out driving around to find neighborhoods with cool Christmas lights on their houses. The kids spent a few minutes in the cold and playing in the snow.

Then, Ethan made this Santa and snowman. I am not crafty at all, but Ethan enjoyed doing it anyway.
