we're not sick anymore, so now you won't think that I'm a bore. Okay. Christian looked at the blog last night, for the first time in over a week, and he said, "You put an awful lot about the family being sick in there." So right now I'm repenting. It's hard not to complain when you can't see the light at the end of the sleepless tunnel. But I can see the light now. I slept through the night (besides Aidan waking up three times with bad dreams.) We went and spent four hours at our friends' house, and we didn't even overstay our welcome! It's nice because Aidan has a friend just his age (Xandi), Ethan has a friend just his age (Elli) and I have a friend my age (Staci)! It started out only being a get together to have Ethan and Elli make Christmas cards for their preschool teachers, but then they wanted to play in the playroom downstairs, and then it was lunchtime so we ate there, and then why not stay and watch a Christmas movie, eat popcorn, and visit? What a fun day. I love days that fly...when you aren't just WAITING for your husband to get home from work because you can't entertain children for one more minute. Oops, am I complaining again? I don't mean to; it just slips out. Anyway, Christian gets off of work early today, and then he has work off until Thursday! Hooray for Christmas vacation!

I think you are just saying what we all think sometimes. :)
Can I just say that I was so happy for you today?! Not having to entertain, having a friend of your own, and gaining a real husband. Woohoo!
I don't think you're complaining. Ask Christian what he would blog about if he was a stay-at-home dad (and sick, no less). Or tell him to start a blog and tell him he can't complain about work. Besides, it's therapeutic. He should know that!! I'm not trying to be hard on Christian - Hi Christian! - I just know your pain all too well sometimes!
I'm so glad you are all well again, and just in time to enjoy daddy's days off!!
Yay! You're all feeling better! And what CUTE cards! What a fun day! I'm jealous. I spent the day last minute stocking shopping.. UGH!
I don't think you complain too much, just saying how your life is doesn't mean it's complaining:). I'm so glad you are starting to feel better! That is great for the holidays. I'm just starting to get a cold and so are the boys--at least we had about 1 1/2 weeks of good health!
I am so glad you are feeling better! I would hate for you to be sick for Christmas! I LOVE the cards! Christian is home for a really long time. WOW!!! Have fun - you always seem to! :)
