I posted on my blog:
six snow angels
I am not a poet (as you have notice by the five previous days of Christmas), and I didn't have the energy to come up with a rhyme on this one. But the three kids did two angels each. Then we went sledding! Elli's backyard has a steep short hill, and then a long gently sloping area at the bottom of the hill. Perfect for sledding. The kids loved sledding...walking back up the hill wasn't that much fun.

See, proof that I actually spent some time outside! I don't like winter weather, but I did it for my kids. Plus, it was around 28 degrees today, rather than 10, like it has been lately for a high.
They did a chain this time, Ethan and Elli on one tube, with Christian there for moral support. Right before they did this, Ethan said to Elli, "I'm a little bit scared. Are you?" And when she said, "Yes," he said, "But that's okay. We'll be okay." And then afterward, walking up the hill, Ethan and Elli held hands through their mittens. Awww. So cute!
This is Christian and Ethan going down the hill!

That is a big hill?!??! That is in their backyard??!! It looks like a lot of fun! I am jealous!
So Awesome!! It has been too long since I've been sledding. We are supposed to get a ton of snow here over the next week. Now I just need to find me a hill! Oh, and a sled. And some snow clothes. But other than that, I'm ready!
Way to be a trooper. I love being outside but only when it's warm, so I hear you on not wanting to be out in the cold!!! I feel like a terrible mom all winter. Oh well. They always live, don't they!
That is so fun! My kids would love that. I'm not a winter weather girl either...so proud of you for getting out there.
I forgot to say--I love the title--6 snow angels. You make me laugh:).
how fun! I love it. Wish we had snow, and a big hill

You guys look like you had a great time sledding. I love sledding. Brandon took the kids a few Saturdays ago and pulled them on Sleds behind the Four wheeler. They had a blast but ofcourse I didn't get any pictures of it. Way to go on going for your boys!!!
