What's the formula for keeping kids playing together, happily, for an hour? A big book of stickers (700 Thomas stickers, thanks Grandma Ruth) that peel off of paper easily, and a kitchen floor. Ethan was the official "sticker peeler," and Aidan would put them on the floor. It started by random stickers of the different trains (the ones you see on the left). Then they found the railroad tracks, which turned into a long and winding track. Then they put trains on top of the track, because we all know that if you have a railroad track, you have to have trains on a railroad track. Then they started counting. They got to 91, so of course they had to put 9 more on the floor to equal 100. What a great game! That is, until it is time to take the stickers off. Then, I'm sure, there will be weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. And the kids will be upset too.

Yesterday Ethan came out of my bedroom wearing my pajama bottoms all the way up to his neck. He thought he was pretty clever!

Stickers got us through the long flight. What great brother time they are sharing. I love it. And i am so impressed that they counted to 100! Ashton without fail counts 10, 11, 16. Oh well. Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas, hope Christian is feeling better.
Merry christmas looks like you had a wonderful one!!
