We had a very nice Christmas together as a family. Last night we read Luke 2 and watched
Joy to the World, a DVD put out by the church
. Then we each opened one present. This is one of my favorite pictures of Aidan, because he was
so excited to receive from his brother his favorite Transformer, Bumblebee. (P.S. Ethan received Frenzy, his favorite
Transformer)

Then, some random pictures from today:

Santa left the boys a note that said: Dear Ethan and Aidan, I hope you enjoy your new monster trucks. I gave these to both of you so that you can learn to share with each other. Thank you for being so loving to each other this year. Be sure to listen to your mom and dad. HO! HO! HO! and Merry Christmas. Love, Santa That Santa. He sure is smart.
Ethan got Tic Tacs in his stocking. He has never had his very own before. He was so excited!

Aidan's new big wheel bike. Think it's a little big? For the last 30 minutes he has been riding back and forth in the kitchen, driving forward until he hits the dishwasher, and then scoots backward until he runs into toys in the living room.
Christian, putting together one of many toys. And all with a fever and chills. What a man!

This is
Eyeclops, a cool video microscope that hooks into your TV that magnifies things like 200 times or something. This is a penny on the screen.

This is a Home Depot Workbench with power tools. Very cool toy, very long for Christian to assemble.
A couple of hours ago, Ethan asked me how long until Christmas. I told him, "Zero days." He said, "No, until the NEXT Christmas." I said, "366 days." He asked, "How long is that?" I said, "A whole year." I don't know if he fully gets it...just enjoy it while it is here!!!

So fun! We put together so many things that next year we decided on 1 present for each kid....I doubt Paul will be able to stick to that!
Merry Christmas!!! I'm glad you've had a great one!
