On the Twelfth Day of Christmas

I actually had to look up "twelfth" to see how it is spelled. What a weird word! Anyway, I have been reminiscing over the last twelve days, and last 10 years, and here is what I came up with (try to sing along with the tune of the song, if you can):

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my loved ones gave to me:
12 days of sickness
11 special ornaments
10 years of marriage
9 days with Christian (yay for vacation!)
8 degrees all day long (so cold)
7 cherry chocolate squares (per day; it’s the only treat I made and I ate way too many)
6 months in Iowa
5 new Christmas cd’s
4 hanging stockings
3 times of vomit
2 gingerbread houses
and 1 happy family!

Jessi said...: OH MY GOSH THAT IS CUTE!! He is so sweet! And about temple square, I can't count how many times Jarrett would say "WOOOOW! TREEEE!" while looking at all the lights.
