On the Eleventh Day of Christmas

my loved ones gave to me: a nap and a photo opportunity. Church was really nice today. During sacrament meeting they had volunteers come up in between the primary and ward choir songs to share their favorite scripture about Christ and to explain why it is important to you. And there were never awkward pauses! There were more than enough people who wanted to share. It was a really neat meeting. Then, when we got home, we ate lunch, put Aidan down for a nap, played Battleship (Ethan has really been wanting to learn how to play), and then I went and took an hour and a half nap! When I woke up, Christian took a little 20 minute nap, and then the boys wanted to snuggle with their daddy. So I asked them to pretend to be asleep while I took a photo, and this is what I got:

Ethan and Aidan had to bring their blankets and all of their stuffed animals with them. Yes, they are wearing pajamas at 3:00 in the afternoon. It's a comfy day today. And, I asked Aidan to close his eyes like he is sleeping, and this is what he did. Click on the image for a closeup. Picture perfect!

OK, I think this just erased my comment I worked so hard on so here it goes again -
I make it a goal to be in my pj's by 3:00 on Sundays. Today I finally did it! James did too, but that doesn't count because he is sick and never got out of his.
That is a cool (and gutsy) Christmas program. What if no one wanted to share anything? Very cool though.

Love the adorable photo. Such cute boys!

I'm impressed with the program. We two talks on Christmas, but that's all--no choir, no primary, nothing special. It was nice, but I missed a good Christmas program. Sounds like yours was fantastic.

We're off to watch Smurf Christmas!

I'm glad you had a great Sacrament. Ours was pretty neat as well, but I think if we did what you did there might have been some of those awkward pauses:). We were totally in our pj's these last few Sundays very early--it's so cold I just love getting all snuggly.
