...And Two Days Early, Even!
My visiting teaching companion, Jenni, and I went visiting teaching last night. I love the sisters we visit, and I love my companion! When we left, at 6:30, the temperature was -3 degrees with a wind chill of -30. The wind was biting and miserable. I asked my companion, jokingly, whether we would be blessed for doing our visiting teaching, or whether this weather was our consequence for waiting until the end of the month. (If you're reading this Jenni, start a blog!!!) So, here's my question for you...have you done your visiting (or home) teaching yet this month? Do you always (or ever) wait until the last day/week of the month? I really like the sisters we visit. I don't know why I procrastinate, other than just for the sake of procrastinating. Is anyone out there like me?

Yup! I did mine Sunday and last night. At least I made the appointments last week. That has to count for something right? And Erin you are the best visiting teacher I ever had, no matter what day you came on (or who you came with).
I did mine at the beginning of the month, my companion can only do it on wednesdays, so hard to get with her. if we dont do it at the beginning it tends to get harder and not done. Good job for going in the cold
We have a set appointment for the second wednesday of the month, then we all know and it eliminates the whole week long spent trying to set up and appt,
I just want to say how I love to hear all about Aidan and what he says. (like the frog thing) Because Braden is about the same age, He is always calling out for his toys...like he thinks they will answer. What a cute age they are.
PS- After 2 weeks of trying I get to finish up the last of my 3 sisters this afternoon! Hooray.
erin, you sound just like me. In fact we did ours yesterday and I seem to always wait till the last of the month because I think oh I have 3 more weeks to do it then oh I still have 2 more weeks and before you know it is the end of the month, Where does the time go??
It's not just the sisters! Our home teachers came over at 9:00 last night.. ha ha ha!
Boy do I feel sheepish. I'm going tonight. And maybe tomorrow too.
I almost posted about visiting teaching today! I got home last night from visiting two of the sisters (I actually did the other 2 back in the beginning of the month!)and just realized how much I love doing it! It is an inspired program. I LOVE it :)
I'm the WORST visiting teacher ever. I just got a new partner and new sisters to teach. I haven't met any of them yet...
