Random Ramblings

Hello there. Not too much going on at our house over the last couple of days. Well, not too much that is blog-worthy. So I'll catch you up on un-blog-worthy happenings. That's just a warning, so that if you are bored with this post, it's your fault for continuing to read!

Aidan threw up for an hour last night. Yes, I know the men out there will be disgusted that I am talking about disgusting bodily functions. But the mothers are in the know, sadly shaking their heads and half feeling sorry for Aidan and half feeling happy that they weren't me last night. I kept changing sheets, and he kept throwing up on them. I even put strategically placed towels on his bed, and he would still somehow manage to miss the towels and throw up on the sheets. I love doing laundry at 2:00 in the morning, don't you? Then, when he woke up this morning, he asked for a Gogurt. Ummm, NO! I don't want to see that coming up! So he's being clingy, but there's nothing like LeapFrog's Math Circus video to keep him occupied long enough for me to write a post.

I think I spent a little too much time two nights ago surfing the net and reading other people's blogs, because I have something pinched in my right arm (I suppose from keeping my hand on the mouse for too long.) I'm getting old! But I couldn't even sleep the night before last because my right arm down to my pinkie finger was in a constant state of pins and needles/half asleep. Yesterday it was on and off, and this morning I feel it coming back as I type this. So I guess I will have to do some left-handed mouse clicking for a few days. No, I can't give up my addiction to checking blogs. I'll just switch hands!

I made a really easy dinner a few nights ago that was really yummy. Here's the "recipe": Cook two chicken breasts and cut into bite sized pieces. Cook half of a bag of those mini cut carrots and cut them in half. Then dump them together in a pan, add two cans of sliced olives and a jar of Bertolli Alfredo sauce, heat until warm, and serve over fettuccine noodles. Yum! And my kids ate it. That's always a plus for me. Plus we had a friend of Christian's over that night and he ate it and said, "How do you make this? It is so good!" I love making lazy food that tastes like you slaved over it!

Here are a couple of cute old pictures for the grandparents to smile over:

Ethan, age 10 months

Aidan, 1st birthday.

I love your random ramblings and the cute pictures. I thought the other day about adding some younger pics of the boys--I miss how innocent they were (namely, Carson). Oh well, guess it's time for another one huh! Sorry Aidan was up sick last night. No fun!
