Excitement!!

Have I just figured out the secret to potty training success? I gave Aidan a ton of apple juice this morning, took his diaper off so he is running around without pants, and put his little toilet in his bedroom (where he usually goes to do his business in his diaper). He has gone potty FIVE TIMES in his toilet in the last hour and a half!!! With no accidents! I would definitely call this a success!

He just went in and went potty by himself for a sixth time while I was typing this. Score!!!

Vickie said...: The combination of "heightening his awareness" ie. no underwear, putting his toilet in a "safe place" ie. his bedroom and giving him tons of juice to pass is your winning combination!
