Same Parents + Two Children = Very Different Personalities

We took the kids to Wal-Mart a couple of nights ago to buy Hot Wheels cars with their own money. It's so interesting to see what kind of cars they choose. Ethan always chooses something that could be a concept car. This time it was the "Rocket Fire", a really weird looking white and orange car with a rocket launcher booster thingy on the back. He always chooses cars that look really funky and kind of weird, that you would never actually see on the road. And Aidan chooses cars that actually exist, like a Subaru Impreza or names with funky numbers and letters, like Nissan 350Z or 911 GT3 (I had to borrow a couple of his cars to read these off of the back). Even the way they choose their cars is completely different. Ethan kind of looks at all of the cars non-chalantly, and Christian will suggest three or four that he thinks are cool, and Ethan will choose one of those. With Aidan, he is on a mission. He stares at the cars, and when Christian makes suggestions, he says, "Wow..." and keeps looking. Then, all of a sudden, THIS is the one he wants. He's all done looking, he wants to go pay for it so he can take it out of the package and play. They can spend 10 minutes just looking at the Hot Wheels cars; and then, of course, they want to check out all of the other fun toys in the toy section. We can spend 30-45 minutes in the toy section. (Until I get totally antsy and have to leave.) That's what we do around here when it is too cold to go outside. We run down all of the batteries in the toys on display at Wal-Mart.

There are two piles of cars here. Can you tell which ones are Ethan's and which ones are Aidan's?

And here they are, playing with their race track and having fun together (and only fighting very minimally):
