Sledding Fun and a Puppet Show

Yesterday we went to Elli and Xandi's house. We went sledding down their hill and had tons of fun.
Ethan and Elli sledding down the hill together. I love this picture!

Linking arms to help each other walk up the hill. Awww...

Me and Aidan going down together. Aidan loved it, and didn't want to stop. I had to stop because my jeans were soaking wet!

Walking up the hill.

Then we came in the house and the kids held a puppet show for us. Elli wanted to tell stories about a puppet princess and the prince who comes to rescue her. Ethan wanted to tell stories about a mutant octopus who transforms into a pirate eating monster. And they are only four years old! But already they are showing clear gender differences, even during imagination time!

3 people wanted to leave a comment:

Those pictures are so cute, Erin. I love that your boys are buddies. And what's with kids and puppets? Emma has been enthralled by them since she was about 4 months old.

I am so glad you have such good friends out there and get to do cool stuff. It makes me want to move to Iowa. Well, not really, but I would like to do some sledding!
