Girls' Morning Out

I went out with a few girls from the ward to breakfast this morning at The Cafe, a popular restaurant that uses all local ingredients, that happens to be in my backyard (through the parking lot). I have lived here for eight months, smelling the delicious aromas every day as I walked to my car, and had never been there! But it was so fun to have a morning out, with girls, without children!

I was giddy to be there this morning (my giddiness only slightly shows through in this picture)

My meal (who doesn't want an omelette with hollandaise sauce on top??? I can hear my arteries clogging, but it sure was yummy. Maybe the fruit cancelled out the cholesterol-raising eggs?)

I think all girls (with or without kids) need a girls' night (or morning) out regularly. I sure did feel better afterwards!

Our girls night out was fun too. The boys all hung out and played video games and after our movie we brought ice cream back and all enjoyed that. Yes, we left Zoe at home, asleep and alone. The De Souza's place is just a tad too far for our wimpy baby monitor. Don't call child services!

oh I am so glad you got a Girls Morning out! Everyone needs those I agree! Once Justin is done with school, maybe I'll get to do that more often but for now he's never home. That's ok!
