Friday night, we checked both accuweather.com and weather.com. They both said it would be partly cloudy Saturday morning, with afternoon and evening thundershowers. So Christian planned on a morning bike ride. Well, Saturday morning we woke up to rain and lightning. It rained all morning, and then cleared up in the late afternoon and was clear all evening. So the weather said today would be cloudy with rain showers and a severe thunderstorm this afternoon. It is 6:15 PM right now, and we haven't seen a drop of rain all day. We did get a tornado watch, which in Iowa is pretty predictable. You will see many tornado watches in the course of a year in Iowa. Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy and breezy with thunderstorms. And being the long weekend, we have an Elder's Quorum activity to attend in the afternoon. Hopefully, if the weather follows the trend of this weekend's forecast, it will be warm and beautiful tomorrow. We'll keep our fingers crossed!

Don't you just love the midwestern weather? We made a temple trip yesterday, and just planned on being able to do the babysitting outside, but our plans moved inside this little building/room very quickly! In fact the rain was so hard, we almost turned around and didn't go to Nauvoo at all! Good luck on the house hunting!!
I'm sorry, but I really thought I liked rain. That's before it dampered a whole bunch of plans. Sorry about the rain! We were lucky enough to have snow here the other day. . .
