But today you will be graced with my favorite album of all time.

Sarah McLachlan, Fumbling Towards Ecstacy
I was introduced to her by an old boyfriend way back in 1992. This album had just come out, and I fell in love (with the album, that is). She has such a sweet, ethereal voice and I could (and did) listen to it all day every day. I'm sure I listened to it more than 500 times from beginning to end in a year. My favorite song is Circle...the first line just speaks to me somewhere in my core...which must mean that I am a loner at heart? "There are two of us talking in circles, and one of us who wants to leave." My next favorite song is Possession. I think it is the prettiest song of all time. I remember sitting on my boyfriend's bed listening to this album and wishing I could be Sarah because her voice is so beautiful. By the way, I'm starting the playlist with Possession, because if I started with Circle and your speakers were turned way up, you would be scared with the laugh at the beginning. (I remember that happening when I first listened to it.)
So, what is your favorite album of all time?
And where have all of my faithful commenters gone? I love writing, because it is kind of like keeping a journal, but the comments make it extra fun. Maybe other people are too busy, I don't know, living their lives or something. But for me personally, the computer is my friend.

Love the new blog decor. Love the new music. Love the sweet little dandelions.
But I can't think of a favorite album. I know it used to be Peter Breinholt, but I have moved on. I'll have to get back to you on my favorite. Hmmm....
Hey Erin...
I don't think I have a favorite album from the 'good-ol-days' but I was always pretty keen on listening to KBER-101 back then...
Currently I have taken a liking to a Jazz artist named Jamie Cullum. I never really considered myself a 'jazz' person until I heard the cool stuff that this guy can do with a piano. Check him out if you get time
That IS a good album. I think I've told you I went to her concert in 2004. It was awesome!
Favorite album of all time...that is a toughie. There are so many. One that sticks out in my mind right now as one that I listened to over and over was Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill." I was in 7th grade when it came out and my best friend Sara and I would talk on the phone and listen to it at the same time and try to synchronize our stereos.
So favorite album? Well I am a big Erasure fan, and so I guess I would say my favorite album is their POP Top 20 Hits one.So when are you going to the other church sites? We are about 3 hours away from all of those, if I remember right. But this month is crazy for Nathan. He has at least one or two tests per week, and then I think that the week of the 19th is finals week. So if you are going after that, then maybe we could meet up!
I love the new Leona Lewis CD. I am not sure I have a favorite album of all time!!

Me too!!!! She is my forever favorite singer. I've decided that we have very similar taste in music!
I love it when you reminisce... favorite album?...I love a lot but I don't think I could ever tire of Peter Cetera (should I admit that or does it make me sound like a loser?) haha
My favorite album would definitely be a James Taylor one, I just can't decide which. Maybe "Never Die Young".
My favorite Sarah song (I love her, too!) is probably the "Terms" one - you know: "In the terms of endearment, in the terms of the life that you love, in the terms of the years that pass you by, in the terms of all the reasons why" (did I get that right?) It's so beautiful.
