Crêpe Party!

Last night I made dessert crêpes and we just about polished off the entire batch. The boys LOVED them...of course, with spoonsful of sugar, what's not to love? We had blueberry pie filling, Cool Whip, bananas, and beurre/sucre (butter and sugar). Not bad for an impromptu party.

Here's my recipe (thanks to Aunt Terry):
4 eggs
1 1/3 cups milk
2 Tbsp oil or butter
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt

I cheat when I make crêpes; I have a crêpe maker. It makes them paper thin. When I try making them in a pan, they are pancake thin (in other words, not thin at all).

Yum yum!

Anyone want to join us for our next crêpe party?

Sign me up! I love crepes. You can put anything in them and they are delicious. Thanks for making me so hungry when I just had breakfast. ;)

Yum! I love crepes too. I have a recipe from the FHE for newlyweds book. I just make them in a pan. They're not paper thin, but not as big as pancakes either.

Goodness, I love Crepes! I wish the European Connection didn't close around here--I'll have to find another one!

Or, of course, just buck up and make my own!

Fun! My family loves crepes...I make my mom's ham and cheese recipe on a regular basis. You might have to double the batch for that though...they do go way to fast!

I have been wanting crepes for so long. I want ones with strawberries and cream and I so badly do not want to make them! Good for you for having a crepe party!

My mouth is watering, seriously. I miss crepe fetes. My favorite toppings were nutella or sugar and lemon juice. Oh I miss it! Glad everyone enjoyed the culinary treat.
