Hey, I Actually Won Something!

Last week there was a party in blogworld called Mommyfest. Basically, you go to the website, put your own blog on "the list", click to check out other people's blogs, and hope that people click to check out your blog. I actually learned a lot about blogging while looking at other people's blogs (I didn't know before last week that SAHM stands for Stay at Home Mom). I also noticed that people do a lot of cool things to make their blogs look really cool. I know how to type words, include pictures, and I just barely learned how to change my background.

Anyway, I spent way too much time checking out other people's blogs, since I love to read and I'm always looking for things that speak to me. I found quite a few that I enjoyed reading, so I'm putting them on my sidebar entitled "Mommyfest Blogroll" (yes, I learned what blogroll means too). Well, some of them had prizes or giveaways on their blogs last week (which is why I decided to do one on LaughLearnLove this week). I only entered the giveaways of the blogs that I really liked, and I found out yesterday that I WON ONE! Christine at Serenity How e-mailed me and told me that I won a $25.00 gift certificate to iTunes! (Click on her link to see what an awesome blogger she is.) Now, for all of you who know me, I spend nearly all of my fun money every month on iTunes, so now I have a reason/excuse to spend more! I'm realizing that all of my sentences are ending in exclamation points! But I can't stop!

I'm cheaper than Christine. I could only afford $10.00 for the L cubed blog (you know, Laugh Learn Love?). But one day, when Deneal and I are on Oprah, we'll be giving away Kitchen Aids or Nikon cameras like the Pioneer Woman. And then you'll say, "I knew Erin way back when she gave away a $10 gift cert to Wal-Mart/Target."
