Do you like Coldstone Creamery ice cream? Heck, even if you don't like it, would you like it if it was free? If you go to Coldstone's website, there's a link on the main page so you can join the birthday club, and the week before your birthday they will e-mail you a coupon to get a free Like It Create Your Own Creation (that expires the week after your birthday). I just got the e-mail today, so I have two weeks to go to Coldstone and get my free ice cream. I signed up last year, when I lived in Ames and there was a Coldstone in Ames. And after getting my free ice cream last year I promptly forgot about it until I got the email yesterday directing me to print my coupon. Hmmm, do you think it's worth a 45 minute drive to get a free Like It sized creation? Sometimes living in a small town kind of blows.

They only let you go to the store that you specify, you can't just go to any store, and I specified Logan. I didn't have time to go to Logan around my bday time, so I missed out. I was disappointed, because I have never been to Cold Stone.
I think it's totally worth it...besides, it's time to think of Christmas shopping and you totally have to go down for that, unless you plan on buying everything at WalMart.
And yeah. Living here often blows. I wouldn't mind as much if it wasn't the biggest little town in a 45 mile radius. Oh well.
Mmmmmm....Coldstone!! I wish I would have known about this a few weeks ago! Oh well--there's always next year!! (0:
It is definitely worth the drive for Coldstone! I love that place so much!! Yum!!!
Unfortunately or maybe it's a good thing, we don't have one in our neck of the woods. I did try some on a vacay, and it was nummers. how great for you.
YUMMMM...I love coldstone! Dang, my birthday was LAST week, oh well, maybe next year. You know about lots of cool free things, I love it!
Awesome! I will for sure check into this! Thanks :)
Yea! B-day next month! Thanks!
I love ice cream! Even better when it's free!
Too bad. Maybe you should save the coupon and try to use it later anyway. They might feel your pain and let you use it.
i don't do business with Cold Stone, they have dirty business tactics. My sister's friend opened up an amazing gelato and ice cream shop and Cold Stone through a FIT saying that he was infringing on their business (the nearest cold stone was over 5 miles away)and their intellectual property rights, blah blah blah because he made his frozen goods on site and they sued him and ran him out of business. not because they won the suit, but because they made his life so much hell and caused so much financial distress ( hiring lawyers) he couldn't stay in business any longer. So, even though they have yummy ice cream, I think they suck.
Ok -- when I was in the hospital with baby #2 hubby brought me this concoction from Cold Stone. That was 11 years ago and it is still my all time favorite. Sounds odd, but you need to try it to appreciate it.
It's a blueberry malt, with cheese cake base and heath bar mixed in... SO YUMMMMMMMY!
COld Stone is terribly yummy, but it's best for me to just stay away. Many of those concoctions provide me with an entire day's worth or more of calories and fat in one yummy but small little cup. I'll go with the fat-free frozen yogurt instead. At least when I am exhibiting self-control!
Today I realized there is a Coldstone in Spanish Fork so maybe you should come up here. We could watch Survivor and cry over Marcus being gone.
I have been doing this for my birthday for a couple years. I am lucky enough that there is one down the road and two more within a five or 10 mile radius. Of course I don't get to go very often. They are EXPENSIVE!
Personally, I don't think you're missing out very much to not have a Cold Stone in your town. You can probably get way better ice cream at the local Tasty-Freeze, or whatever Cedar has. :) But I guess it'll cost a few $. Happy birthday early!
I love Coldstone Ice Cream and remember how we're like twins and have a birthday in the same month. I'm going to go get my free treat right now.
I had a coldstone cake this year for my birthday. HEAVENLY.
I'm going to sign up!
Darn! Just missed it for me. I'll have to do it for next year.
hey! thanks for this!! coldstone is my absolute most favorite dessert in the whole world! i get the same thing every single time and it brings such joy!
red robin will give you a free birthday burger if you sign up on their website.
burgers and ice cream. yum!
Thanks for the tip, my birthday's next month.
Wonderful tip! Happy early birthday ;0). Gotta love that ice cream.
Wow, 45 minutes is quite the commute for ice cream. We want a Cold Stone ice cream cake for Milo's b-day, but we also would have to drive either to Logan or Layton. Lame.
I do love me a Cold Stone on occasion.
Oh crud. My birthday is over by 6 days now. I have to wait a year for mine.
Ohhh I love me some ice cream - especially when it is free! Thanks for the heads up! :)
