Sock Sock Bo Bock

This was my sock drawer before I went to Salt Lake last weekend:I kid you not. Over the last month, most of my socks outgrew their life expectancy and they got holes in them. Every day, I started throwing my socks away instead of putting them in the dirty clothes basket. By the time I went to SLC, I had 3 1/2 pairs of socks left. I would wear three days worth of socks (including the snowman/snowflake ones even though it was 70 degrees), and on the fourth day I would wear my husband's socks and do laundry. So while I was shopping on my cousins weekend, I went to Target and stocked up:Now I have 19 new pairs of white, dark blue, medium blue, and black socks. Pretty boring. But at least now that I have enough of the basics, I can start looking for more cute ones to add to the collection.

I'm the other. I got up at 5:45 and shopped in my pajama's online. I still didn't get everything I wanted. Oh, well. At least I didn't have to get out of my pajama's. I got my cute socks at the DI. NO, NOT USED. They were in that section where they have all of the underwear new and in packages, and the socks all have tags on them. Plus, they were cute.

I love socks. I had very little like you until one day... I bought a whole bunch and now I wish I had done it sooner - it feels so nice to have options.

Amazing how they found their way back to where they belong. My socks are jealous of your socks as my socks are always lonely and mismatched.

Hey Erin! Thanks for coming by and saying hi. I've been seeing you around, too, and meaning to pop in.
Socks? I consider any kind of cute socks "disposable" because I never seem to keep them together long enough to wear a second or third time!
I vote stick with the basics.

For some reason I am always amazed and perplexed when a sock gets a hole or wears out. Getting separated from its companion, yes, but wearing out? That just doesn't seem right! (You mean I gotta go out and buy more?) whine whine

I'm weird about socks. Specifically that I like weird socks. The funkier the better. Except the ones that are like gloves for your feet...those are toooo weird.

I am convinced there are sock gremlins that live in my dryer. It doesn't matter what I do, I am always missing a sock... or twenty. And if I get a hole in a sock, well it better count down it's minutes because my husband will rip it wide open. I hate that. I usually don't bother with socks because they drive me nuts! :)

I usually only wear sandals, so I don't have to worry about socks. But good thing you got some new ones!

I'm sure glad you filled that drawer back up. The only thing worse than a sock with a hole in it, is no sock at all...

After living in Phoenix, I had no socks. And I still haven't really replenished. Silly me.

I am glad I am not the only one who wears her husbands socks... I don't even own a pair of my own. I usually wear flip flops -- even in December. Gotta love AZ!

Old navy has the best "fun" socks! I used to have dozens of them! And, I'm the girl who replaced you in YW's in Ames... just wanted to let you the girls are doing so great and I love them so much (they really are the best group!)

I love new socks. But don't buy them for myself very often. Enjoy them!

You truly freak me out. There's some kind of wavelength thing goin' on between us -

I had four pairs of socks before coming to the States - two of which were my hubbies. And I just bought a pack of white, pack of tan, and pack of black/blue. From Target.

As long as you have a few black socks, you are way ahead of the game. I hate wearing socks... but if i have to because there is 10 feet of snow and it's 30 degrees BELOW zero... I prefer to wear black socks. :)

first of all, i love your "clean" blog. it's honestly refreshing to see someone who can be entertaining without being rated R. LOL. hugs for that.

now, onto the topic of socks. my sock drawers also looks like yours, but it's for a much different reason.

i stink at laundry. there is no way around it. i literally have 2 laundry baskets FULL of socks that need to be matched. i am tempted to throw them ALL away and just start over.

socks.....the only reason i don't like the colder weather of this season. my feet repel socks and shoes. they LOVE sandals. (they're totally vegas feet).

Oh you are so lucky, I LOVE new white socks! That is seriously one of my favorite things. I didn't realize it until my husband pointed it out the second month that we were married but I change them a couple of times a day because I like how tight they feel when you first put them on!
