Can I just say I am so excited I might pee my pants? Oh, is that uncouth? Aww, who cares - it's my blog and I can pee my pants if I want to. Lee from Lee's Free Custom Layouts (you may also know her from Perpetual Burn) is currently the coolest person in the entire universe! I e-mailed her last night, to say I would be interested in changing up my blog a little bit. I told her what I was interested in (all things French), and voilà! Look at what amazing work she did on my blog! She came up with this fantastic banner and background, and she did it for free! And not only that, but I was being very technologically challenged and couldn't figure out how to make the header the right size (it kept appearing about 2 inches long), so she got on my blog and did it for me!! I asked her why she is so kind, and she said she likes doing it and she is good at it, so she wants to do it. I love her!
As a gift to her, I will be bringing her back a little something from France in March. (And I may be holding a little giveaway on my little blog here with a few little trinkets from France too. Lucky you!)
So, thank you Lee. You are awesome. Go check out her work. Now.

Your blog looks fantastic! I need great friends like that who are technologically gifted! I think it is wonderful you are going to France. I went many years ago and was completely scared out of my mind because I didn't speak a lick of French, except to ask where the toilet was or the Louvre. I would love to go back now that they have made public bathrooms free!!

Sorry--I got behind on my blog reading this weekend and I am doomed to stay behind if I keep up with my intentions--I'm kinda bummed about it. Maybe I should start getting up earlllyyyy in the AM. Anyway, LOVE your template. Oh, and to answer your question, after thinking about it a bit, I realized the reason I gave on my comment section isn't strictly true. I think I chose Tuesdays purely subconciously b/c that was the one day a week I sat and ate chocolate and novel-wrote Miss D (I had my class that night).
