Here's our equation:
Ginormous tax return - paying off our new tv - down payment for a second car = I guess a new computer will have to wait until next year.

Hope you are enjoying your Lost marathon.

We're using our tax return for my summer school tuition. Kind of boring, but it means no loans so far for grad school :) I going to wait until Lost is entirely over, then watch it!

We haven't discussed out tax return. It usually all goes towards our debt. Bleh.

I need to rent LOST and watch it.

Sounds like a perfect day! Minus the sickness! Enjoy watching LOST!

Hope he gets feeling better. Good luck on the tax return savings. It is always so hard to want to save it when there are so many things to spend it on.

Okay, how in the world do you do the strike through?

Everyone is getting sick over here too. Ugh, seems it's EVERYWHERE. Get well husband! And enjoy LOST. I loves me some LOST. :)

We are getting the biggest tax return we have ever gotten, and I'm afraid we might have gotten pulled for an audit, because it was supposed to be deposited last week and it wasn't. waaaaah. But If i were the IRS and I saw that one year Joe got x back and the next year he got 2x back, I might wonder. But we made almost double this year...so gimme my tax return already! I got bills to pay (and a dining room set picked out!)

What an equation. Good luck with it all. Men are horrible sick patients. Mine is anyways. Sort of like a mom/child relationship again. lol...

Sorry he's sick. Lost is addictive, isn't it? We just did our taxes last night and I'm so glad it's done. We are going to pay off medical bills and hopefully save a bit too.

My husband is the worst to take care of when he's sick. So whiny and needy. ☺ Whenever I get sick he basically tells me to just get up and walk it off. I'll be just fine. Whenever he gets sick, let's just say it's a different story altogether.

I too, would like to know how to do the strike through thing.

Man, I am sorry that your husband was home sick. Joel has been homr for two days, too. He went this morning but I think he'll come home and go straight to bed as soon as possible. He's done a great job this time of not being as whiny as usual. :)

Good for you for deciding what to do with the tax return money. We haven't even started filing yet!

Hope your husband gets well soon! But if he doesn't, you can always use the tax return to by the 3rd season of Lost and enjoy that together:)

My husband has been sick as well, and finally went back to work. I think he sensed an impending murder if he didn't! Hope yours gets better soon!

Guess who owes the government money?? Yay!!

Several people suggested we start having 5 kids immediately for the tax breaks. I will have to consider it.

Girl -- you have to get caught up on LOST!! Season two is only the beginning of the mind-numbing-brain-twisting-heart-stopping episodes.

Hope your hubby gets better.

Ah, the tax return. We always have so many big plans . . . .

I'm finally caught up on Lost! This is the first time in months that I haven't had an episode (or 2 or 3) waiting on my DVR. It's kinda sad really. *sniff* Oh but there's a new one tonight! Weeha!

We haven't done our taxes yet, but our last years return was used to fix my ageing minivan, all of it.

rychelle said...

are you sure he wasn't just faking it so he could get in on some of that lost action?!?

(hope he feels better soon!)

Return. Return. Who get's a tax return???????? I'd be happy to "break even" and not have to pay. It stinks to "own" your own business....yea right. It owns you!

What Vickie said! One upside to being a sell-out - maybe I won't OWE next year. Sorry about the hubby. Don't tease, I know he's watching Sponge Bob!

Sher said...

We got a nice fat return last year, so I'm just hoping and praying that doesn't mean we'll have to pay this year.

Our tax return will be saved. We dont need anything and want to take the kids to Disneyland later this year. I love Lost and have loved the new season!

Just stopping by again to let you know it has nothing to do with being cool, and everything to do with being perimenopausal :)I predict you on a Harley in...20 years :)

I don't think we ever get to spend our tax return freely. Something ALWAYS comes up.
