Is this not Proper Etiquette?

Most people think I'm prim and proper. Or, as The Boob Nazi said, "Well put together." Maybe this will make you change your mind:

We got two entire cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory to take home and eat later. When the Dulce de Leche one was gone, I noticed there was still a bit of crust left on the base of the box. I snatched it up and started licking. Then someone offered me the piggy sunglasses, and I gladly accepted them.

A true lady. Very prim and proper.

Wow, THOSE are some good-lookin glasses. I would've done the same thing. You know me and cheesecake. . .

Hey, we all have to let loose every now and then! I can't vouch for The Cheesecake factory's food..but I have been told that it is "lick the plate good"!

This should be your new profile pic. People will have an entirely different expectation.

And I JUST listened to BIgger than my Body--I have Heavier Things playing. I love John Mayer lately. See. You should come over!

Ha!! Cheesecake will do that to you.

Sounds yummy! I once licked a plate at Buca Di Beppos...the chocolate sauce on it made me want to cry....I couldn't let a drop go wasted!

Well hello, Erin. Thank you for popping over to my blog. I've checked yours out and must say that I am impressed. Well done.

Yes, in fact, I think you might now me. We went to the same high school and university, just different classes. We shared a few common "friends". (If your husband ever talks about ancient history I might start to blush.)

BTW, this picture is so something I would do. Cute.

Well, I am a long time member of an etiquette board (stop laughing) and I think that they might let you pass for the sake of hilarity.

See the nursery rhyme line "This little piggy had roast beef" never made sense to me....however, this little piggy had cheesecake, now that's a line I can get behind :)
Love those glasses!!

A prim and proper lady would have used her fingers to scoop up larger pieces and then licked those off as well. I hope you did.

I sometimes lick my bowl of yogurt clean when no one is looking. If I do that for yogurt, I would totally do it for cheesecake.

oh I'm pretty sure rules of primness and propriety don't actually apply to cheesecake. At all. Ever.

We have to come to some conclusions with this blogging thing that we do it for ourselves and our families and not for all the attention that we get. thanks for helping me to realize this. hugs for being so brave. I would love an invite to your private blog if you dont mind. my email is raggettyanne@comcast.net.

I have a private blog as well and would love to invite you if you would like. It is called si tu veux. Meaning If you like...but if you don't like....whatever. French, I think. Anyhow. Let me know. I can get your email from above, or you can leave me a comment and I will invite you.

You have been part of my blogging since day one. The if you give a mom a moment...really struck me.

I am not always out, but I do love to come to you when I am browsing. You are amazing. Thanks for sharing your life with us.
