Almost Wordless Wednesday
We have a bird that keeps coming around and drinking from our hummingbird feeder. We have looked up its characteristics online, and we think it is a Bullock's Oriole.
(P.S. Notice our rock wall?)

What!?! He just needs a drink.
That is quite ther rock wall. I went back to the original post. I've seen many rock walls in my day..but not one like that. Love.It.
Cute birdie. And I LOVE the rock wall!!
I could watch hummingbirds for hours. They're so facisnating to me.
Yes I did notice the rock wall. In fact, it was the first thing I noticed. What a wall it is? I can see how you would be endlessly entertained by it.
I didn't mean to ask a question when I said "What a wall it is" I meant to use one of these !
Your wall is awesome. I love birdies and that one is so cute. They make me smile. As long as they don't dribble on my porch.
I bet your boys love living there--watching the birds and climbing the rock wall. Fun, fun.
That rock wall is any boy's dream come true! And I love the humming bird feeder what a fun thing to watch out the window.
what a colorful bird. I love the rock wall!!
How fun! I should get one for our balcony.
Very interesting that another bird besides a hummingbird is stopping by to drink. We have enjoyed hummingbird feeders for years in our own yard but never saw anything except hummingbirds (and bees) drink from the contraption. It's a beautiful bird.
The rock wall is very cool indeed!
he's adorable. :)
Wow...that is the ultimate rock wall. No wonder your boys love it.
Ashton looked at the picture and said, "oh! I remember that rock wall!" We've been looking for hummingbirds here in CA too!
Gosh, it is hard to keep those "wordless" entries wordless, isn't it? :p
Happy to stumble on your blog today -- I'll be back!!
I love the rock wall. What a pretty bird...okay, off to read about the wall...
Love the bird feeder. I've been begging for one out front but Splenda doesn't want to deal with the droppings.
Lucky you
What a beautifully bright bird!
That bird is beautiful! And what a cool rock wall. My girls would LOVE that!
Oh, how pretty!
VERY cool...I didn't know other birds could even get into one of those feeders...but Orieles like citrus and fruit so I'm sure they love the sugar water. How fun...and he makes a beautiful addition to that rock wall!
I need to put my hummingbird feeder out.
I have tons of rocks if you need more. They grow in my garden.
I just put my feeder out but haven't seen any birds at it. I would love to see an oriole. I think they are beautiful.
I love seeing new birds, except the only birds we see around here are pigeons. The occasional hummingbird.
And I love the rockwall. It looks really pretty.
Oohhhh... love the background now!!
I LOVE the rock wall. And I am not a bird person, but that is a gorgeous little guy/gal?
So pretty! What is the wall for? Retaining of some sort?
Oh he probably just thinks your house rocks! Get it rocks...ahem. Bye now!
How fun, I bet your kids are loving that!
I just love birds :) Did you guys put up that wall yourselves? It's impressive!
Love the hummingbirds, and the rock wall! I need to be productive like you!!!!
I'd rather have the birds.
Hummingbirds freak me out, eekss.
Some people it's snakes, frogs or bugs, for me it's them lil hummingbirds.
That wall must've been a lot of work!! Such cute birdies :)
Oooh, what a perfect spot for a bird feeder! You can all watch him so perfectly from there. He's gorgeous! (So is your rock wall, by the way...)
