1 cup beer (preferably a dark lager)
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp oil
2 egg whites
items to dip (white fish, vidalia sweet onions)
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, oil, salt and beer. Cover loosely, let sit for 30 minutes. In a separate bowl whip egg whites to firm but not stiff peaks. Fold gently into batter. Pat fish dry, dip in batter and cook in 375 degree hot oil until golden brown.
Use the other half of the beer to feed your plants or wash your hair. Voilà! Healthy plants/hair AND a full tummy!
