Thank you to all of you who commented about comments. It seems like most of us are in the same position - trying to figure out what works best for us - and some of us are having a difficult time getting that balance figured out. One thing you helped me figure out was that even if you aren't commenting, you are reading, (which is silly I know, but validating). And if you aren't reading, it is because you are busy, and not because you don't like me. The insecure side of me needs to remember that. And maybe pound it into my head a few
thousand times. So thank you for being honest. It really helped me.
Oh, and one more thing - for the last two months I have been wanting to vlog something (video blog). It will be
awesome! The problem is I am
terrified to record and put a video of myself on my blog for the whole world to see. I can't even stand to watch myself in home movies. So please - help talk me into it.
P.S. This kind of sounds like a downer post, which I did not mean for it to be, so let's end on a happy note: my sister

I LOVE when people put video clips of themselves on their blog. Makes them seem so much more real. That said, putting one on my blog just about unhinged me. Good luck!

One thing that comments also do is let me know people are reading. Even a comment every couple of months.

I've been a little overwhelmed with things lately but I love visiting your blog and reading your point of view.
As for the video blog- do it! I'll even do it with you. I want to post an old video of my preemie twins but it has ME in it at my highest weight EVER and I'm self conscious about it. If YOU do it, I'LL do it!
Would it be hypocritical of me to encourage you to vlog? Because I can't STAND to put video of me on the blog. I have a hard time if I can even hear my voice. But of course I would love to SEE what you have to say. Either way I'll keep coming back for more.

As for comments--it is frustrating but I always at least try to read everyones blogs--even if I can't comment. It gets crazy around here and now with summer here I have a 10 and 6 year old that I will have to share the computer with which means limited time for me. We will see how it works out!!

I really think that you should do a vlog. It would be great...but I know how you feel. I try not to ever have pictures or video of myself. Not my favorite thing to do. :)
I just made my first video, completed this weekend (because I was requested by Tip Junkie - so watch for me there). I also HATE watching myself on video/home video, you name it, but I got brave and just did it.
