Ode to the Honda

To our sweet little Honda Civic - How do we love you? Let us count the ways.

We purchased you nine years ago, when you had only 21 miles on you. We had been married just over two years, and you were our first major purchase. We paid you off the week before Ethan was born. You drove both of our newborns home from the hospital; with Ethan (the oldest) we made you drive 5 mph under the speed limit to ensure his safety. You have taken us to Washington and back twice and Iowa and back twice. You turned over 100,000 miles somewhere in eastern Colorado. You have given us 40 mpg on a regular basis.

You have been reliable, little Civic, but it's time to move on to something bigger and safer for our family. We will miss you!
