Did You Know? Christmas Music Edition

Did you know...that iTunes has two free downloads per week of Christmas music?  If you have iTunes, you just go to the iTunes store, scroll down to the bottom where it says "Free on iTunes" and the first two songs are free Christmas music.

Did you know...that Amazon.com is giving away one free song per day from now until Dec. 25?  Just click here and follow the instructions for the free song that day.  (I'm so bummed; I didn't find out about this until today and I'm really sad I missed the Tori Amos song.)  *Addendum: I just checked, and all of the back songs are still free.  I got my Tori Amos song!  I don't know if they will all be free all month long or not, so you'll have to check.

Did you know...that every Monday Karen of Kazzy's Ponderings does a Musical Monday where she sings a Christmas song?  They have all been beautiful.  This week, she did Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming.  Last week, she did O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, which I'm pretty sure she did just for me because she loves me so much (or perhaps because I bugged her so much to do it).

Did you know...O Come, O Come, Emmanuel is my very favorite Christmas song of all time?  I have 11 versions of this song alone in my holiday iTunes folder.

Did you know...while O Come, O Come, Emmanuel is my favorite Christmas song of all time, that this version of Carol of the Bells is actually my favorite Christmas song right now?  (As evidenced by the 32 times it has been played in my holiday iTunes folder.)

Did you know...my most recent download of Christmas music was Jon Schmidt Christmas?  It's worth it just for his version of I Saw Three Ships.  I love love love it.

That's all.  Now - what do you know that I don't know about Christmas music that you have to tell me about (in other words, what am I missing out on that I don't currently have)?

Free music? Free Christmas music? Bless you for telling me about it!!

My sister-in-law got the sheet music and always asks me to play that Jon Scmidt song for her. I'm not a huge fan of his...but she loves it and cuts my hair for free, so I figure it's a good trade:)

I think you've got me beat on any and all good Christmas music deals...but the Manheim Steamroller station on Pandora is really fun, if you haven't tried it out:)

Thank you!!! I just said to Scott yesterday..."There is something about Erin, about free song downloads. Last year. I don't know, something, go look it up on her blog from last year"
And of course I hadn't gotten around to it yet, and here you are. Yay! I'm there.

Christmas music reminds of high school concert choir and a certain dinner show we put on in the student center and Sky View High where we sang Good King Wenceslas, a song that I now love. Oh, and Carol of the Bells which was awesome.
