I laughed and laughed. (And laughed.)

My blog has been "under construction" for over two months now. Which means, in reality, that it isn't actually under construction. It just means I don't know how to do cute stuff with it. And I want a change, but don't know what to do or how to do it. Help, anyone?

My husband is in Hawaii right now, attending his brother's graduation from BYU-H. Jealous, anyone? (I know I am.)
~~~~~~~~~~
Christian's birthday was yesterday. I forgot to add raisins to his carrot cake. I cried real tears when I realized it. Hormonal, anyone?
I spent almost $200 yesterday at the case-lot sales of Smiths (Kroger) and Lins (Associated Foods). Our year supply is looking great. But the rest of our month may look meager as we wait for the grocery budget to replenish. Good thing we don't have anything special this month... oh wait. Two more birthdays, Easter and a baptism. Hmmm.
Speaking of birthdays, I asked Aidan what he wants for his birthday dinner and dessert. Dinner - spaghetti and meatballs. Easy. Dessert - he was very excited and emphatic: "I want a chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles, and chocolate ice cream."
That's my boy.
My piano students will be here in five minutes. I didn't re-read what I wrote, so here's hoping there aren't too many errors. Although, I never edit what I write (on my blog) anyway, so I probably often have errors. Okay, I'm totally ending this blog post stupidly. Who cares. My mind is in the clouds because of April. Bye now.
And why don't you get to be sunning it up in Hawaii as well?
It's extra mean that he's in Hawaii without right now since the weather is so crummy!
My piano students will be here in 5 minutes, too! And after Conference, my husband decided that we needed to spend $500 on our food storage. (I suggested the same thing a month ago when we got our tax return but my idea was rejected then.) So yesterday my husband went to Macey's case lot sale and bought $480 in food. Mostly rice.
I would eat Aidan's birthday cake. Probably all of it.
I LOVE this post. And the ending. I have returned to the land of blogs and will officially be blog stalking you from now on... again. :)
PS The time out rules must also apply here in our house... especially #3.
I was in Washington DC and only got conference via twitter- perfect for my ADD self. Here's hoping the Church in general learns how to cut it down to 140 character bites! LOL! The highlights became pretty obvious.
We still need to work on the food storage thing and will be doing so this month.
I didn't get the memo about time out. Bummer!
Yes, spring is a bit intoxicating!
April is a BUSY one for you. And Easter too this year. Whew!
You never edit your blog? Wow, I edit a TON. I try not to go back too far, but I'm always catching things and re-wording things.
That said, I found no errors in this post.
We follow Time Out Rule #3 at our house religiously. lol
I am coming over for Aiden's birthday. Sounds like the best dessert ever.
My mom in law (who is not a member of the church) is getting into food storage big time and has dedicated a whole bedroom to the cause. She bought a ton of stuff from the church and is always asking my opinion on it. Do I have even have a month of food storage? Probably not. I should really get on that.
What are you talking about? There are never errors on you blog.: )
You never edit? Wow, I go back and change things at least 12 times each post I do. No kidding.
Aidan cracks me up! What a little chocoholic!
Yes, I am jealous.
Sounds like a grea birthday dinner.
I like those Time Out rules! LOL
I am totally jealous...especially since I have never been to Hawaii. And I am now craving chocolate cake.
Laughed out loud at the "cry the whole time you are in time-out." So cute and funny!
I am way jealous that your hubby is in Hawaii!
I need to go to the case-lot sale before it ends, I just haven't planned it out yet. I did score a 24 pack of top ramen for $2.40, that was unplanned. I'm trying to not buy stuff that isn't on my list...easier said than done.
no raisins in the carrot cake? I would cry too...
I just stocked up at Smith's case lot sale as well!! :) Feels good.
I forgot to respond on my blog... but yes, I am from Logan :)
I love the time-out rules. I'm thinking I need to implement those, though, number 3 for us would be: You must whine most of the time you are in time out, then calm down for couple minutes, so you can get out.
Your Aiden has great taste!
