He wanted a "tunnel." A book was the only thing I could come up with to create a tunnel, so I got one and put it up. Then he got the brilliant idea that if one tunnel is cool, 15 tunnels are even cooler.
Notice that he is even wearing Thomas underwear.Then, last night before bed and this morning for 45 minutes, Ethan and Aidan did this:
They wore Christian's and my gloves, and walked around the train track while the trains drove on their tracks (until one train broke down, and then it was only one train driving around the track). They listened to Guitar Hero music the whole time: Smoke on the Water, I Wanna Be Sedated, No One Knows (Queens of the Stone Age), Killer Queen, etc. Hopefully it burned off some energy so they will both have a good nap...or at least a good quiet time. Isn't it crazy how trains can hold their attention for so long? Oh...yeah...blogs hold my attention for so long too. I guess to each his own!

How great that they can entertain each other for such long periods of time! I'd be milking that if I were you. :) Way to go with the tunnels. If one is good, fifteen IS better! That's what I tell myself about oreos. And swiss cake rolls.
Carson was also completely obsessed with trains--entertained him for hours. I loved it! Good job on no TV yesterday!!!
You're so good at posting! I can't even keep up! I love the train tunnels! We should try that with Jarrett's. And a day with no tv? I am VERY proud of you! I don't know if I could do it. No morning cartoons? Nothing? No way! ha ha.. but GOOD JOB!!!!

Totally cool! How fun! That kind of a cool track/display would never happen in our house. Sigh. Chase would come over SO fast and knock over all of Spencer/Leda's hard work then I'd have three kids screaming and crying. lol

that is so cute how much they love trains!! I love that he made tunnels with all of his books!! Can I say amazing that Ethan can tell time and count money!! Alyssa can't do that yet!!
