PB L &J (...or, If You Say So)
Most of the time, lunch at our house consists of two things: peanut butter and honey/jam or turkey and cheese. I'm too lazy to be creative when I have to think of something for dinner too! Aidan usually chooses turkey and cheese, and Ethan chooses pb&h. Crust cut off, with mandarin oranges and chips on the side. Today, Ethan said, "What is Max's favorite sandwich?" (You know, Max the rabbit from the Noggin show Max & Ruby.) I said, laughing, "Peanut butter, lettuce, and jelly." Ethan said, "That's what I want!" I said, "Are you sure? You can't throw it away...you have to eat it" (he doesn't even like lettuce, and won't usually touch the stuff). And he was sure. So I made him a peanut butter, spinach, and jam sandwich. I didn't even cut the crust off, because I was sure he was going to open the sandwich, pick off the lettuce, and ask me to cut the crust off like I always do. Nope. He ate EVERY bite, spinach, crust, and all. In fact, he ate it faster than he has ever eaten a sandwich before. So, we tried something new, and he got some fiber from the leafy greens in his jam sandwich. Yummy.

OH MY! that is very funny. Funny the way kids will eat when they decide something...
Personally, I think the easter Bunny song is a little annoying (no offense) But Sydney girl LOVES it!!She boogies to it every time. Matter of fact, as i sit here I have to continually push the play button for her, so I need to get off the internet quick! (Don't worry, I know how to turn the volume down when I am checking things without her on my lap...)
Oh, thank you for taking the song off! When I heard it for the first time, I thought you were nuts! Then I realized it was for the kids, and I was a little more ok with it. Cute breakfast helper! Happy Easter!
You're kidding??!!!! How in the world did you manage that? The true test is to see if he ever asks for it again.
