Chocolaterie Stam

When I first became the Beehive adviser 6 weeks after I moved in, I had one Beehive. The numbers grew, slowly at first, and in the last month exponentially. I now have 5. Every time a new girl becomes a Beehive, we have a little party to welcome her in. The last three times we have gone to a place called Chocolaterie Stam, a quaint little shop that sells chocolates, gelato and hot chocolate. It has been a fun place for us all to feel very grown up (even though I'm OLD), sit on the comfy couch or floor, eat (or drink) our treats, and get to know each other better. I'm so bummed I'm moving in less than two months! But anyway, I still have two months to enjoy getting to know these girls better and teaching them the gospel.

We went to Stam last night to welcome in the newest Beehive, Natalie. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera. Boooooo. But I did bring it last time, so here are a couple of fun pictures.

The girls eating their gelato. YUM!
Julia caught me at a hysterical moment, apparently. But isn't it a fun little shop? I gave Christian a box of chocolates from Stam for his birthday in April, and yes, I did eat more of the chocolates than he did.
The requisite funny picture
The cute one...Julia L., Madeline, Kaisha, Julia C., me. Awww!

What a perfect place! I think I'd go every week just to hang out and feel grown up. (Somehow after spending all day with a four year old I definitely don't feel grown up anymore.)

I just have to say that I always remembered my Young Womens teachers. They were my most favorite people when I was younger and in Young Womens!! And I know that is how those girls feel about you. You can just tell. They'll remember you forever! What fun memories you are creating for them!!

Look at those cute girls as Beehives! Wow. We adored Stam. We miss it. It has a few knock-out chocolates, like the hedgehogs and that one with the toffee crunchies on top - and the bottom is a dark choc. cup-shape. You know? Thanks for reminding me about Stam!
Have a fabulous trip to UT. Sorry about the iPod thing. Juno is super funny, and you'll appreciate the Midwestern humor. It's also pretty, um, well, you'll see. Better the kids not be around for it. I liked it a lot.
