Pictures!

Can you say exhausted? After logging 3360 miles on the car and driving nearly 50 hours, we have a lot to show for it. I'll spend all week blogging about it. Today, the house...

Our house (after June 30 as long as there are no hiccups along the way)
The dining room. It has lots of plant shelves. I can't keep plants alive. I also don't have much luck or knowledge in the interior design department. This woman keeps her house nicely decorated. Mine might just have bare walls. Anyone want to help me with my dilemma?
The kitchen. I love it love it love it!Another view of the kitchen. Lots of cabinets and counter space. I'm giddy!
A double door pantry, floor to ceiling. It's going to look pretty sad at first when all I have to put in it is mandarin oranges and peanut butter. But I look forward to working on my food storage.
The living room. More plant shelves. Nice big windows. I sound like a saleswoman in a catalog.
One of the four bedrooms. The seller is going to keep the vinyl letters up on the wall. And I love the bright yellow. Can I have this bedroom? The laundry room. Look, there's a place to hang stuff to dry, instead of using my shower curtain rod! And behind the door is almost as much space as in front of the door. What am I going to store there? (I'm sure I'll find something.)
Christian signing the papers. Right before he signed he said, "You know, we can still back out of this." It's a little scary!
Me signing. Now it's time for the nail-biting: waiting for inspections, the appraisal, the loan to go through. And then...yippee! Home sweet home!

CUTE house! I love it. I'm so happy for you guys, but also jealous that you had such an easy search. I guess when you have to move, it makes a difference. Our realtor isn't doing that good of a job, so we're actually not going to use her anymore.

I want to come visit you guys after you get settled! Be sure to email me with all your info, address, etc.

At least you're tall enough to water the plants on those shelves, or put whatever you want up there without a ladder. So many exciting possibilties!

It's perfect! Was it listed online at all, or just locally? I was trying to find it online, but it was hard to find stuff in Cedar City at all! Cute little town.
I love the house. It's so great! We're also still waiting for a few things. Our inspection is done, but the loan isn't quite finalized yet. We also close the 30th! When do you leave Ames (you may have to email me all the answers). Also, what's the address? How exciting!

Our house closes on the 30th also so we will be stressing right along with you. Hope all goes well with you. It is a very nice house. I need lots of help with decorating too. Who knows what I will do with some place I am planning to live for more than a year. So weird.

P.S. I do, in fact, have bare walls! But I'm hoping to make our new place a bit more "cute" - although I have to admit, I kind of like the openness of bare walls. It makes me think everything's clean and tidy. I know, I'm weird.
