So, as you can see, I have made some changes on our blog. With Christian's job, and the literal stalking possibilities (it hasn't happened yet knock on wood), I don't want our names to be easily googleable. And I didn't want to make our blog private, either. So I went through the last year's worth of posts and deleted every time it said our last name. Then I googled both of our names, and I found myself toward the bottom of the second page. (If anyone has a burning desire to search my last name on their own blog and delete it, you are welcome to :))
Anyway, I spent a couple of hours trying to get this simple header put together. There were only a couple of tears, but I figured it out. Then I couldn't figure out how to get it onto the blog (it said it was exporting as a jpeg, but I couldn't find it on my computer.) Christian came to the rescue, figured it out for me, and now I have a brand new blog with a brand new name. Moms with little kids (and dads too) out there will notice that it is based on Laura Numeroff's "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" books. I'll still be tinkering with colors and things, but I'm excited! Great, another reason to spend more time on the computer. Oh well - a fulfilled mom is a happy mom!

Whoa, that was a surprise! Fun though. I've been wondering how one could change the name of their blog, it sounds way involved. I agree about not wanting to go private. I mean, I kind of do for the safety of it, but I also want old friends to be able to find me.
Cute new blog!
Did you know that in the setup their is an option to have your blog not show up in any search engine? I did this, and when I google any of our names, my blog doesn't show up at all.
I have been wanting to change the url of my blog, but always thought I would lose all my posts. Tell me how you do it, Please?
