Summertime

Ethan starts school tomorrow. Since it's the last day of summer vacation, I decided to try to initiate some comment love by asking you this question:

What is your favorite summertime song?

For me it is Sheryl Crow's Soak Up The Sun. It's such a happy, upbeat song, and the video has surfing, sand and Hawaii all wrapped up into one. It's the perfect summertime anthem.

Just to really date myself...how about "Hot Fun in the Summertime" by Sly & The Family Stone. I think that it was popular when I was about 12. Heehee
