Some Fun Stuff

Last night we went to the trunk or treat at our church. After 30 minutes, our candy was gone. Our ward alone has 65 primary children, and it was a three-ward affair. The kids had fun filling their pumpkins...thanks to the cotton candy, it filled up very quickly.
Now that it is November first, it is officially my birthday month. Bring on the fun!

For my very first birthday present this year, Shauna gave me my first two blogging awards:

I love the cute little heart. It's colored just like how I color in real life. And I am also a star commenter. Does that mean my 15 minutes of fame has started?

Thanks for thinking of me, Shauna!

How fun! I wish our ward did trunk-or-treat! So much candy in so little time with the least amount of exercise:).

I loved Halloween when I was younger. Then we would come home and sort our candy in cupcake pans and cookie sheets then trade. :)

We went to our wards trick or treat and I had the good stuff. A whole bunch of candy bars and I hardly got hit! My guess is it was b/c we were 15 minutes late and not on the "main line" of cars.

Oh well... we came home and I ate 8.. Bad bad me!!

YES! You are the Star Commenter. You are awesome that way and I can only hope to be half the decent commenter that you have achieved!!!! (((HUGS))) Truly!

I love the post-loot photo of the boys. Those grins are great. It's amazing how exciting Halloween is to kids. There's little that brings that kind of pure joy to an adult. I mean, by the time we're grown, we're pretty well trained not to jump up and down for dessert anymore. Sad.

So much fun! One of my boys was Spiderman too. Wow, that's a lot of loot!

Your boys have serious muscles there! And a great stash of candy!
It's Jill here, I changed my blog name. It catches me by surprise to see your friend, Jillene's, comments because my name is Jillene too!

Happy birthday month to you!! How great to receive little cyber awards! Post it to your blog! Your kids looked adorable. Our ward did trunk-or-treat too but our kids would rather go door-to-door, so that's what we did. Because of the trunk-or-treat, a lot of the people in the neighborhood didn't get many trick-or-treaters and were sad! Glad you had a great halloween! Now it's on to Thankgiving...Ready. Set. Go!

Thanks for your kind words. My birthday is actually tomorrow, November 2nd! Aahh! Fun! Aaron's making me a nutella cake. Yum.

Well, I'm slowly learning to blog. I just get on the Blogger help page and read. I'm learning...maybe someday I'll come close to your blogginess. :)

I need to head to bed. Carter is an early riser!

Look how proud they are of their stash!! Did mom and dad "check" the candy? (which means.. pull out the good stuff for yourselves.. ha ha)

This has nothing to do with halloween, but I love your "twitter" on the side that says, "ursxy". Why thank you!
I laugh every time I go to your blog because I read it everytime because I think it is SOOOO funny! You are hillarious! I keep waiting for blogger to tell me something fabulous.

Cute super heros! I miss all the door to door trick or treating. We only got two knocks on our door...nothing like when I was a kid!

I want to go back to France and stay with my family this summer if I can pull it off. I guess I shall see if I can come up with plane fair.

Are you taking your kids with you when you go?
